SS16 / SS18 • Pratdip Special stage guide

General description

It is one of the most traditional stages of the RallyRACC. This year's special stage changes its start and begins one kilometre earlier, on the asphalted road between Colldejou and Pratdip. The first section, before the Pratdip detour, is narrow and with old tarmac, until you reach the spectacular Pratdip crossroads.

Once past the crossroads, the road changes, faster and with good tarmac, with medium radius bends and where the lines take on great importance to try to achieve the best times.

After leaving Santa Marina (ZP2) the stage heads towards its last twisty and fast-paced section towards the Coll de Fatxes, where the special stage comes to an end.

Camping is forbidden on the entire stage, except in designated areas.

Remember: always leave a lane free, all accesses are escape routes in case of emergency!

Spectator Area ZP-1

Spectacular road junction in the town of Pratdip. It goes from a narrow road to another wide road with a very good road surface. Safe area in the high parts near the road, but be very careful as it is a very hard braking.

Access 1: If you are coming from the AP-7, take exit 38 (Hospitalet de l'Infant). Then take the T-310 road towards Pratdip.

Parking: Parking with access enabled until the road closure at 00.00h (depending on the number of people, it could be closed earlier). Limited to the access road itself, the T-310. Remember: always leave one lane free, all access roads are escape routes in case of emergency!

Spectator Area ZP-2

Area only accessible before the road is closed at 00:00h on the day of the stage (or earlier if the authorities consider it necessary). It is a wooded area with medium-radius bends, where the cars pass at high speed. Good visibility before reaching the recreational area of Santa Marina.

Access 2: Difficult and only following the same road (T-311) of the stage, at Coll de Fatxes, but only until 00:00h of the day in which the stage is run.

Parking: Car park in Santa Marina (leisure area).

Spectator Area ZP-3

The final part of the stage where the road flattens out and where the curves follow one after the other. Good location to follow the passage of the participants in high and safe places.

Access 3: Take the C-44 road from Vandellòs or Tivissa to Coll de Fatxes.

Parking: Parking with access enabled until the road closure at 00.00h (depending on the number of people, it could be closed earlier). Very limited on the Gavadà road itself.
