General description

The first stage of the rally is already one of the great novelties of the event. With a very fast downhill start and on a narrow single-lane road, you reach the village of Els Omells de Na Gaià where the first spectator area is located.

Once past the village, the stage continues in the same vein, a narrow, fast road with areas for good cut-offs. The linked bends become more and more common until reaching the final part of the stage. The braking starts to become quite important due to the unevenness of the terrain and the high speed of some sections when you reach the finish line with the village of Maldà in the background.

Camping is forbidden on the entire stage, except in designated areas.

¡Always leave a lane free, all accesses are escape routes in case of emergency!

IMPORTANT: The access to the stage start through Senan on the T-232 road from L'Espluga de Francolí will be cut off!

Spectator Area ZP-1

The first spectator area of this stage has different locations to be able to follow the passage of the participants safely and with very good visibility. It is an area shortly after the start with a very fast and steep descent. It is just in the first hard braking before Els Omells de Na Gaià where we find the first of the locations.

Then, the stage approaches the town itself, making a fairly steep uphill hairpin, where we find the second of the locations and from where there is a great visibility.

The third location within this large spectator area is found once the previous hairpin has been passed, where the cars will head uphill and negotiate medium radius bends with great visibility.

Access 1: from L'Espluga Calba take the rural road to Els Omells for 5.7 km.

Access 2: from Blancafort take the TV-2338 road towards Els Omells de na Gaià for 13 km.

Parking: if you arrive by access 1 and 2, there will be large parking areas near the village of Els Omells de na Gaià.

Spectator Area ZP-2

The second spectator area is located right at the end of the stage, a steep downhill with hairpin bends and areas of heavy braking and cut-offs on the inside, which promises to be spectacular.

Due to the high speed at which it will be reached, the areas set aside for spectators will always be the highest ones close to the road. As with the spectator area above, there are different locations. The first, the furthest one, is reached via access 2, while the second location is reached via access 1.

IMPORTANT: The asphalted access from the village of Maldà will be closed for safety reasons.

Access 3: From the diversion on the L-201 road towards L'Espluga Calba, continue 1.4 km along the L-2014 road until you take the dirt track on the left. After 1.2 km on the dirt track you will reach the first location for the public.

Access 4: from Arbeca via the L-201 road or Sant Martí de Maldà.

Parking: on the outskirts of Maldà there will be ample parking spaces. Do not leave your car on the road as this is part of the participants' road section. Picnic area in the village of Maldà.
