22/10/2022

The 57 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España 2022, begins its second stage with timed 119 km spread over 7 special tests. Today will be the second and last day for the participants of the European Championship (ERC), itinerary that will no longer include the entry-level series Toyota, Suzuki and Volant RACC-Trofeu Mavisa, teams that only competed in  the first day.

Sébastien Ogier – Benjamin Veillas (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid) lead the 57th RallyRACC followed by Kalle Rovanperä - Jonne Halttunen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid) and Thierry Neuville - Martijn Wydaeghe (Hyundai i20 N Rally1 Hybrid).

A large number of spectators are following the race both live at the stages, at the PortAventura World service park, and on the Salou promenade where the podium is located. The Catalan city will be the focal point of the urban Special Stage that will close the day.

The second day's stages are Savallà (13.93 km), Querol - Les Pobles (20.19 km) and El Montmell (24.18 km), which will be run twice, and the Salou urban stage (2.15 km) that will be run only once. The PortAventura World service park will once again be at the centre of the day's action, with two stops for technical service: 40' from 12.20h and another 45' from 19.10h, at which time the cars will be prepared to face the final day of the race.
