Changes in the itinerary of the 56 RallyRACC

30/08/2021

Due to the current health situation, two slight changes have been made to the itinerary of the 56th RallyRACC-Catalunya-Costa Daurada, which will not affect its sporting difficulty at all and very little the competitive mileage of what will be the penultimate round of the FIA World Rally Championship in 2021.

These changes affect the first and third day. As regards the first day (Friday, 15 October) the stage "Batea-Villalba", will not be run, and consequently, the day will be made up of three special stages "Vilaplana" (20 km), "La Granadella" (21.80 km) and "Riba-roja" (14.21 km), which will be run twice. These three stages are exactly the same as in the first published itinerary.

The second day (Saturday, 16 October) remains unchanged, with two passages of the special stages "SavallĂ " (14.08 km), "Querol-Les Pobles" (19.17 km) and "El Montmell" (24.40 km) and one of the urban stage "Salou" (2.24 km).

On the third day (Sunday, 17 October), the stage "GavadĂ " will not be run, and it will be replaced by the already known "Santa Marina" (9.10 km), which will be run twice. The other stage planned for this day, "Riudecanyes" (16.35 km) will remain the same.

In total, the 56th RallyRACC will be made up of a total of 1,410.29 km, 280.46 of which will be split into 17 special stages, 9 of which are different. The rally, based entirely on the Costa Daurada, will have its epicentre in Salou and PortAventura World and will be held between 14 and 17 October.
