SS 3/SS 7 – Caseres Special stage guide

12.50 km (gravel)

Friday, 23 October 2015 • First car due: 11:09h and 15:43h

General description

The stage is almost identical to the stage raced n 2014 as Pesells. The biggest difference is in the initial section, as it will be starting this year in the village of Caseres, which gives the name to the special. Very fast and narrow initial section, to continue with the track leading to Bot, first on an even ground with a slight ascent to continue downwards, on an excellent surface allowing to make use of the whole road-width.

Spectator Area ZP-1

Located in the first section of the stage, a few metres from the start. There are a series of half-radius bends on a rather narrow road before reaching the intersection in Arenys de Lledó.

Access: Gravel track of about 2 km starting from the village of Caseres and continuing parallel to the stage. You may also reach the area from Arenys de Lledó, following the route of the former stage until this point.

Service: Car park on the same access road, always leaving enough space to avoid blocking.

Spectator Area ZP-2

Timed gravel section; junction of several tracks coming from the wind farm. It is a left-right layout with a light brow on a surface with a lot of dust that is reached after a 90º right-hander, wide road with good visibility.

Access: From Kp 791.6 of N-420 road follow the track to the wind farm and continue about 2 km to reach the described junction.

Service: Easy parking area along the stage access track.

Spectator Area ZP-3

A very interesting place as there is a strong braking point on gravel to challenge a closed angle to the left on dirty asphalt, located exactly 100 metres before the finish.

Access: Walking from Bot.

Service: In the village of Bot, or easily inside the soccer field of the village, the latter being located exactly 700 metres from the bend.
