SS 20/SS 23 – Duesaigües Special stage guide
12.10 km (asphalt)
Sunday, 25 October 2015 • First car due: 8:37h and 12:08h
General description
This special stage, formerly known as Riudecanyes, has changed its name this year and will be run in opposite direction as Duesaigües, taking participants all the way up to the roundabouts of Coll de la Teixeta, where the stage ends. It starts with a light downhill section until the intersection at Riudecanyes, to start going up towards Duesaigües, skirting the reservoir of Riudecanyes, with a very technical ascent to reach the last section. It is well known due to its characteristic roundabouts on the N-420 road. The mountain acts as natural grandstand offering a great area to watch the cars negotiating the last roundabout, around which the participants will have to make a complete lap (doughnut style). As a novelty, the special stage will finish a few metres after the last roundabout heading for Porrera.
