SS 19/SS 22 – Pratdip Special stage guide

General description

One of the classic stages of the area, very technical, with a good surface and wide. It starts running downwards after Coll de Fatxes to Pratdip, on asphalt with good grip and a fast and twisty track. The stage continues then to a narrower section, in worse condition, with small brows, and can be considered as a very technical section. The third section is the novelty of this year. Instead of turning to the left heading for Colldejou, the stage continues to the right heading for Mont-roig del Camp, and finishes a few metres before the intersection.

Spectator Area ZP-1

The first section is fast with a light descent. There are several linked bends to be negotiated at high speed, increasing the pace. There may me strong brakings to follow the perfect line.

Access: After exiting AP-7, follow C-44 to Tivissa, until the intersection with T-311 in Coll de Fatxes, 5km after Vandellós.

Service: Very limited parking space on C-44 and on the rural road to Gavadà, some 2 km from the stage.

Spectator Area ZP-2

Fast section with bends, in front of the Santa Marina chapel, with good visibility. The stage continues with the same features as the beginning. Nice place to enjoy a walk through a dense forest.

Access: No access, the only way to get there is on the previous day before midnight.

Service: Camping site and car park.

Spectator Area ZP-3

Intersection with a good place to stay for the public, good visibility in the area of Pratdip. The stage changes from a good asphalted road to a very narrow paved track.

Access: Follow T-310 to Pratdip, 6 km from exit no. 38 (Hospitalet de l'Infant) of AP-7.

Service: Limited parking space on T-310 and camping site in Pratdip.

Spectator Area ZP-4

Descending intersection heading for Mont-roig del Camp, leaving the paved track that starts in Pratdip. Very good area with quite good visibility and a good place for spectators to stay.

Access: From Colldejou following the T-322 road coming from La Torre de Fontaubella.

Service: Limited car parking space on the T-322, always leaving one free lane.
