SS 18/SS 21 - Els Guiamets Special stage guide

General description

A complete new stage in this edition of the RallyRACC. The first part starts on very worn and bumpy tarmac, but the speed reached may be quite high. After arriving at the village of Els Guiamets, the special becomes slower, but the tarmac quality improves considerably. Speed gets back as a feature of the last part, with some bends on dirty surface before reaching the finish, on a descent.

Spectator Area ZP-1

Very fast section that ends with a sharp hairpin before entering the village of Els Guiamets, heading for La Serra d’Almos. The road, with old and broken asphalt, changes to become smoother and wider.

Access: To reach Els Guiamets follow the TV-3031 from the N-420 road or from the village of Capçanes.

Service: Very large car park, with large capacity on the soccer field of the village. Access to the car park from the TV-3031 road.

Spectator Area ZP-2

Last, very fast downhill section that ends in a sharp right-hand bend at the stage finish. Good visibility and easy location for the public. The asphalt is smooth but old, could be rather slippery.

Access: Following the TV-3032 road from the village of Darmós or the TV-3031 road from the village of Tivissa.

Service: Very limited car parking chances on the access roads before La Serra d’Almos.
