Abdulaziz Alkuwari (Mini). RallyRACC 2012

The period for the submission of entries for the 49 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA has already started. The entry form, as well as the regulations, are available on the official website of the event, www.rallyracc.com. All teams and drivers interested in taking part in the 2013 Rally of Spain may download all necessary event documents, such as itinerary, maps and schedule which are included in the Rally Guide 1, which is available on the same website since June.

In 2013, RACC continues supporting the participation in the RallyRACC and has therefore kept the entry fees of last year, regardless of the modality chosen by the drivers or teams. The Spanish round of the FIA World Rally Championship is keeping the effort to motivate private drivers, both from Spain and abroad, to take part in the race.

The major price reduction offered in 2012 for foreign non-seeded private drivers is kept for 2013, meaning that their entry fee amounts to 2,000€ + VAT. We shouldn't forget that the entry fee two seasons ago amounted to 3,500€ or 2,500€ if entering long before the official deadline.

There will be no early entries in 2013 either, as the price of 2,000€ will be kept until the entry closing date, always provided that the optional advertising of the organization is accepted. The above mentioned price is regardless of the type of vehicle or class entered, except in the case of WRCars.

Manufacturer teams registered in the FIA World Rally Championship, as well as
privateers with WRCars and all those taking part in the WRC2, WRC3 and Junior support Championships have specific entry fees according to the 2013 WRC Sporting Regulations.

Special support for drivers with a Spanish license
As in the previous editions of the event, RACC wishes to promote the Spanish Rally within the racing plans of drivers holding a Spanish license, keeping the entry fees of last year, which are even lower than those for foreign drivers.  The entry fee of 1,500€ + VAT is not enough to cover the expenses of the participation, which is why RACC is making a special effort to pay for part of the expenses in order to encourage Spanish drivers to participate in the most important rally of the country.

The 49 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España 2013 will be the 12th and penultimate round of the 2013 FIA World Rally Championship (Drivers, Co-drivers and Manufacturers), being also a scoring round for the support championships, i.e. WRC2, WRC3 and Junior. The event will be staged from 24 to 27 October, having its nerve centre for the ninth year in a row at the Costa Daurada, specifically in Salou and PortAventura. The official start will be in Barcelona, at 06.00 p.m. on Friday, 25 October.
