For the third year in a row, all participants will receive together with the road book a CD with images of all stages of the RallyRACC 2012. This useful tool which is aimed at drivers and co-drivers, offers high-quality images of the race route from the cockpit, which makes it easier for crews to understand what they will find during reconnaissance, especially in new stages or sections.

Both the filming and the production of the CD is an exclusive service by Jemba, a Swedish company managed by Arne Johansson, creator of this innovative system, which not only offers the images but also the kilometre information, road book, location on the map and GPS position (if the images are viewed with an Internet connection). This additional information is hugely welcomed by the crews, who have already been enjoying this innovative tool in the past two editions of the RallyRACC. The drivers most appreciating this help are obviously those taking part in this race for the first time.

Jemba is also the creator of the measuring system to create pace notes in timed stages, which consists in measuring the movements of a car at a normal pace. With these measurements, it is possible to predict the pace of a rally car and to design adequate notes. The system does also integrate video and GPS information. According to Johansson, the notes created with this system are quite coherent.
