Shakedown - Coll de la Teixeta

General description:

Following the authorisation by the FIA, the idea of the RACC, of using part of the real stages of the race to make the Shakedown will be another contribution of the Rally de España to the continuous cost reduction battle. This test area will start exactly at the start of stages number 13 and 16 “Riudecanyes”, that will be raced on Day 3, to cover the 4.32 initial km until Coll de la Teixeta and then turn back following the road section to Les Irles on the N-420 road. Priority crews will be able to set-up a reduced service area some metres before the start of the stage, while the rest will have their service areas in Les Irles.

Spectator areas

The best area for spectators to follow the evolution of the drivers during this Shakedown is located in the final metres of the stage, in the area of the roundabout on the N-420 road. A large natural grandstand has capacity enough to hold a large number of fans and provides excellent views of the roundabout which has the shape of a closed angle run counter clockwise.

Access:
To access this area, fans should reach Coll de la Teixeta following the T-313 road starting from Montbrió and passing Riudecanyes and Duesaigües, in opposite direction to the stage route that will be run by the participants on the last Day.

It may also be reached from the N-420 road, taking the Porrera exit and following then the TP-7401 road.

Services:
To reach the car park recommended by the organization follow the T-313 road coming from Riudecanyes. Before the finish of the stage there is a large car park on the right hand side next to the N-420 road.

If you are coming from Reus, take the Porrera exit on the N-420. There is a very limited car park area on the TP-7401 road.

Attention!! It will not be allowed to park on the N-420 road.
