Drivers take a joyride in PortAventura’s Furius Baco

The roster of works drivers entered in the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA had some leisure time this afternoon after the Shakedown and FIA’s official press conference. The braver among them took a ride on Furius Baco, the most exciting attraction in PortAventura theme park, which goes from 0 to 135 km/h in 3 seconds. Most of them were impressed by the acceleration they experienced on the attraction, somehow similar to what they are used to in their race cars. Some comments from the drivers:

Khalid Al Qassimi: “The experience was better than this morning’s!”.

Jari-Matti Latvala: “It’s incredible, it accelerates like a race car”.

Dani Sordo: “It’s fast like hell, but when it turns, the belts hurt a little”.
