Carlos Sainz (Ford Focus WRC): "Hay muchos candidatos a la victoria en este rallye. Para conseguir el título hay que obtener victorias, espero que lleguen cuanto antes.Tengo tantas ganas de ganar este rallye como cualquier otro. Preparo este rallye como las otras pruebas del mundial, pero aquí es más difícil concentrarse porque compito en casa."
"El coche no lo hace fiable el piloto sino el equipo. Me gusta hacer test y kilómetros, pero no más de los necesarios. La reducción a dos pasadas por tramo es una desventaja para los pilotos jóvenes, pero tendrán que habituarse a ello porque es el futuro de los rallyes. A la larga los pilotos buenos siempre acaban destacando."

Bernard Lindauer (Director técnico de Mitsubishi): "Pienso que este rallye es más equilibrado que el de Portugal. Allí la primera y la tercera etapa fueron muy complicadas."

Vicente Aguilera (Presidente de Seat Sport): "Somos optimistas por naturaleza. Para nuestro equipo este rallye es muy importante. Estamos evolucionando tal como esperábamos y pienso que nuestra primera victoria no está lejos."

Gilles Panizzi (Peugeot Esso): "Marcus Gronholm está haciendo muy buen campeonato. Es uno de los aspirantes al título y es normal que sea el líder del equipo. Desde el rallye de Montecarlo los tests han demostrado que el nuevo motor es muy fiable y por este motivo esperamos obtener un buen resultado en el rallye de Catalunya."

Luis Climent (Skoda Motorsport): "Estamos muy contentos con la evolución del equipo. Skoda ha demostrado que es el vehículo con mayor fiabilidad, ya que ha puntuado para el mundial de marcas en las tres pruebas en que ha participado. Personalmente, algunos problemas me han ocasionado algunos retrasos, pero el futuro es esperanzador. He tardado muchos años en llegar a un equipo oficial y lo he hecho por méritos propios."

Carlos Sainz (Ford Focus WRC): " There are several candidates for the victory in this rallye. To reach the championship one must win and I hope to win as soon as possible.I am willing to win this rallye just as other ones.I have prepared this rallye in the same way I do for other events. However, here it is more difficult for me to concentrate, just because I am competing at home."
"The pilot is not the one that makes the car more reliable, but the team itself. I like testing and running in, but only the necessary kilometres.Going only twice through the stages is a disadvantage for young pilots, but they need to get used to it, because it is the future in the world of rallyes. In the end the best pilots always stand out."

Bernard Lindauer (Mitsubishi Technical Director): " I think this rallye is more balanced than the Portugal one. In there, the first and third legs were really complicated."

Skoda has showed off that our car is the most reliable one, because we have scored in the three races for the Trade World Championship we have taken part.Personally, some problems have caused me slowness, but future is encouraging. It has been really difficult to arrive at an official team at last, but I have fought for it myself."
