Richard Burns (Subaru): "En los últimos kilómetros del tramo había mucha grava suelta y mucha gente que se ha concentrado para seguir el tramo".
François Delecour (Peugeot): Ha finalizado octavo. "No entiendo porque he perdido tanto tiempo, ya que todo funciona muy bien. Los de delante están apretando mucho".
Markko Martin (Toyota): Ha finalizado en decimocuarta posición. "La grava suelta que hay a final de tramo lo hace bastante complicado".
Kenneth Eriksson (Hyundai): Se ha salido de la carretera y tiene un golpe en el lateral trasero.
Luis Climent (Skoda): "Estoy perdiendo mucho tiempo y el coche va bien. La verdad es que no se qué sucede, supongo que pasa como ayer que voy perdiendo potencia".
Juha Kankkunen (Subaru): Ha finalizado vigesimosegundo, ya que ha pinchado una rueda y cree que ha roto la correa del ventilador.
Marc Marti (copiloto de Jesús Puras/ Citroën): "Al final del tramo nos hemos dado cuenta que perdíamos aceite y cuando hemos llegado a la asistencia el motor estaba muy dañado y ya lo hemos dado todo por perdido. Estabamos muy ilusionados ya que el año pasado hicimos una buena primera etapa, pero no pudimos completar el Rallye".

François Delecour (Peugeot): Finished in the eighth position. "I don't understand why I lost that much time, since everything worked very well. The cars up front are pushing very hard".

Kenneth Eriksson (Hyundai): Went off the road, and was hit in the rear side.
Luis Climent (Skoda): "I'm losing a lot of time, and the car goes well. The truth is that I don't know what's going on, I guess it's happening like yesterday, I'm losing power as I go along".
Juha Kankkunen (Subaru): Finished in position 22 because his tire punctured, and he believes that he broke the fan belt.
Marc Marti (Jesús Puras/ Citroën navigator): "At the end of the stage we realized that we were losing oil, and when we got to the assistance park, the engine was damaged, so we decided that it was all lost. We were very excited, because last year we did a very good first leg, but we weren't able to finish the Rallye".

François Delecour (Peugeot): Ha finalitzat vuitè. "No entenc perquè he perdut tant temps, ja que tot funciona molt bé. Els de davant estan apretant molt".
Markko Martin (Toyota): Ha finalitzat catorzè. "La graveta solta que hi ha al final de tram ho fa bastant complicat".
Kenneth Eriksson (Hyundai): Ha sortit de la carretera i té un cop al lateral posterior.
Luis Climent (Skoda): "Estic perdent molt temps i el cotxe va bé. La veritat és que no sé què passa, suposo que passa com ahir que vaig perdent potència".
Juha Kankkunen (Subaru): Ha finalitzat vintidosè, ja que ha punxat una roda i creu que ha trencat la corretja del ventilador.
Marc Marti (copiloto de Jesús Puras/ Citroën): "Al final del tram ens hem adonat que perdíem oli i quan hem arribat a l'assistència el motor estava molt fet malbé i ja ho hem donat tot per perdut. Estàvem molt il·lusionats ja que l'any passat vam fer una bona primera etapa, però no vam poder completar el Rallye".
