Seb Loeb (Citroën) wants to win and already leads the RallyRACC

28/10/2018

It was a spectacular start of this last day of the 54 RallyRACC, second-to-last round of the World Championship, which will finish today after four days of intense competition. Sébastien Loeb-Daniel Elena (Citroën C3 WRC) are the new rally leaders after setting the fastest time both at Riudecanyes-1 and Santa Marina.

Behind the Citroën duo, 8 times winners of the RallyRACC, are the leaders of yesterday's leg, Jari-Matti Latvala-Miikka Anttila (Toyota Yaris WRC), 7.1 seconds adrift and the current World Champions, Sébastien Ogier-Julien Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC), at 10.8.

We are already midway through this last leg. After the 30' service at PortAventura World, the participants will face the second run through the two stages of the day, the last of which will serve as Power Stage (Santa Marina) which will give additional points to the top five. It is not a negligible addition considering the close fight between the contenders for the championship, so a fierce fight can be expected to gain the most points.
