26/10/2018

Alternation on top is the trend of this second day of the RallyRACC, with all stages either on mixed surface or completely on gravel, a total of three stages run twice. After the first loop, the Estonian drivers of the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, Ott Tänak-Martin Järveoja, lead the race with an advantage of 11.7 seconds over the British pair of Elfyn Evans-Daniel Barritt (Ford Fiesta WRC), 19.2 ahead of the Spanish duo Dani Sordo-Carlos del Barrio (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC), 23.2 over Norway's Andreas Mikkelsen-Anders Jaeger (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC) and 24.4 seconds ahead of the French Sébastien Ogier-Julien Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC), who set the fastest time in yesterday's stage in Barcelona.

The Gandesa stage was won by Ott Tänak (Toyota), at Pesells it was Jari-Matti Latvala's (Toyota)  turn and on the long La Fatarella-Vilalba the fastest time was set by Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). There is still another run to go on these very same stages this afternoon, after all cars visit the PortAventura World Service Park, where they have 30' for their teams to check them.

In the afternoon, the stages will be run with the following schedule: Gandesa (15.23h), Pesells (15.56h) and La Fatarella-Vilalba (17.10h).
