Ogier and VW confirm their lead; Sordo (Hyundai), second

Current World Champions Sébastien Ogier-Julien Ingrassia (VW Polo R WRC) are on their way to consolidate their lead in the two stages run twice in this last day. At the end of the first loop, they have a cushion of 12.7 seconds over their only rivals for victory, Dani Sordo-Marc Martí (Hyundai i20 WRC).

In the first stage, Pratdip, Ogier, Paddon and Sordo set the fastest times, with the leader getting another 2.6 seconds over the Spaniard, who was already 8.4 seconds behind. At Duesaigües, Latvala, Ogier and Paddon were the first three, adding another 4 seconds to Sordo's disadvantage, which was 12.7 seconds when he arrived to the PortAventura World service.

After the 30' service, the car will pass again through both stages. The last one will serve as power stage, before finishing at the Salou podium about 13.41h.
