RallyRACC SS15: The 50 RallyRACC enters its last phase

26/10/2014

The two morning stages of this fourth and last day: La Mussara and Riudecanyes, were won by Latvala (VW). Arriving at the PortAventura Service Park, the 50 RallyRACC Catalunya COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España 2014, enters its last phase. There is only the last pass through these stages left. The last one, the power stage, will give 3, 2 and 1 point respectively to the top 3 drivers. The podium ceremony will take place starting from.

The 50 RallyRACC is nearly decided. If there is no surprise, the two Volkswagen Polo R WRC driven by Sébastien Ogier-Julien Ingrassia and Jari-Matti Latvala-Miikka Anttila will finish in the first two overall positions, which will secure the title and runner-up positions for both riders.

The WRC2 class is led by Nasser Al-Attiyah (Ford), who must defend his position from Julien Maurin (Ford). If they finish in these positions, Al-Attiyah will take the lead of the Championship, though he will have to wait until Wales to secure the Championship. In the RC2 class, Catalan Xevi Pons (Ford), is currently third.

At the midday Service, Ogier is first, followed by Latvala (+21.9), Hirvonen (+1.34.0), Ostberg (+2.05.7) and Sordo (+2.18.1).
