Although it was run for the last time in 2009 -like Querol-, El Montmell is actually a classic stage of the RallyRACC. It is made up of two well differentiated sectors. The first sector starts in Vila-rodona, and as in previous years, it will have a chicane before entering the built-up area of Can Ferrer de la Cogullada, after a very fast section. The stage becomes very fast around this village, to continue along the twistier layout of TV-2443 until the area of Aiguaviva and the junction in Pla de Manlleu. Then the stage takes TP-2442, much wider and with good asphalt, to finish with a vertiginous and twisty descent, which is known (in upward direction) as Les Ventoses.

Located 2 km from Vila-rodona. It is the start of the special, with large visibility and long bends, linked by fast sections. A perfect location due to the natural grandstand, which, however, has to be reached by foot, since the road is closed from the built-up area onwards.

Access: Leave the AP-2 motorway at exit 11, continue to Vila-rodona. The start of the stage is located some 2 km from the built-up area.

Services: Parking only in the village.

It is the intersection of TV-2444 coming from Rodonyà and TV-2443 (the stage) leading to Can Ferrer. It is a very fast area which will include, as in previous years, a chicane in the middle of the intersection to reduce the speed as much as possible. The passage of Can Ferrer is interesting but it does not offer big chances to locate spectators.

Spectator Area-3 is the large area of Aiguaviva, with a layout that is mostly fast, although with a strong braking point at the junction of TV-2443 and TP-2442.

Access -2: The north access is unique, from T-244 passing Pla de Manlleu. This road can only be taken from Torrelles de Foix (BV-2122) and Pontons (TV-2441) from the east side or from Santes Creus (Aiguamurcia, TV-2441) from the west.

It is the finish of the stage, a place which is not really recommendable as there is little space and little visibility, but it is close to Sant Jaume del Domenys, where there are parking facilities.

Access: Sant Jaume dels Domenys, very close to and accessible from AP-7 (Llorenç and Banyeres del Penedès) and AP-2 (La Bisbal del Penedès). The access is easy and well signposted.
