SS3 / SS6 Les Garrigues

General description: Mixed asphalt/gravel stage. It starts on gravel on a wide road with good surface until km 1.6 where it changes to asphalt with a good surface and medium and long bends. At km 7.70 after a very complicated intersection, it changes back to gravel, and it is easy to have a puncture during the first kilometres as it is quite narrow and with a lot of stones in the ditches. Difficult stage.

Spectator areas ZP-1 Change from gravel to asphalt, on a spectacular descending hairpin. There is a slow intersection on asphalt before this point (Left picture). Access: From La Granadella, walking along C-233 heading for El Soleràs at KP 23.400. Spectator areas ZP-2 Change from asphalt to gravel, with a light gradient on a right-hand bend, followed by several slow bends. Access: From El Soleràs, following C-233, straight ahead to the stage. Spectator areas ZP-3 Spectacular braking after a quick and wide section to get the car into a narrow 90º-bend between walls. Access: From Torrebesses, walking. Services: Large car park and camping site in Torrebesses, sign-posted, some 100 m from the stage.   Assessment: Location     –    Visibilidad     -    Spectacularity
