Seat León 2013

Since the RallyRACC became part of the World Rally Championship in 1991, the Spanish make SEAT, provides the vehicle fleet that makes up the safety caravan and offers mobility service to the organization. But this year, the involvement of SEAT in the RallyRACC will be more special than ever, as all spectators watching the stages on site will have the chance to see the new SEAT León in action as "0" car long before the car will be available in the Spanish dealer network, as this car, the manufacturing of which has started in late October in the Martorell factory, will not be available for sale until February 2013.

With this novelty, SEAT is showing its full support to the RallyRACC for another year, and will round it off providing the RACC with a total of 100 vehicles for transport logistics and event coordination. Almost all of the SEAT models will be represented in this fleet: Mii, Ibiza series (SC, hatchback and the ST family car), León, Altea series (Altea, Altea XL and Altea Freetrack), Exeo series (sedan and ST) and Alhambra.

On this occasion, the crews driving the "0" cars will be:  Joan Vinyes-Jordi Mercader (at the wheel of the new León, both on gravel and on asphalt stages), Daniel Balasch-Manel Casanova (at the wheel of an Ibiza Cupra, also on gravel and asphalt), and David Colldecarrera-Jordi Parro, who will be using an Altea Freetrack on gravel tracks and an Exeo on asphalt.
