The Supplementary Regulations of the 47 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España 2011, have been published today at www.rallyracc.com. The penultimate round of this year's FIA World Rally Championship will be staged for the seventh year in a row in the area of the Costa Daurada (Tarragona), with nerve centre in Salou and PortAventura, from 20 to 23 October.
The publication of this document, which includes the sporting and technical information for all those teams wishing to take part in the race, means also the opening of the entry period, which will last until Monday, 19 September.
Special support for Spanish and foreign, private, non-priority drivers
In addition to the participation of the manufacturer teams registered in the FIA World Rally Championship, the event is open to private drivers, who will have to pay an entry fee of 3,500 €, accepting the optional advertising of the Organiser.
However, the RACC, in their usual effort to bring the Rally de España closer to national drivers taking part with a Spanish license, has established a special fee for them, with a reduction of 50%, i.e. 1,700 €.
Likewise, the fee for foreign, private, non-priority drivers wishing to take part in the rally with a 2WD or 4WD non-WRC vehicle and submitting their entry before August 31 has been set at 2,500€. From September 1 to 19, the fee will be 3,500€.
There is also the possibility to take part in reconnaissance only, without entering the whole event, by paying a fee of 1,000€. This is a very useful option for all those drivers planning to take part in the RallyRACC in the future.
