Demo Jemba System

As a result of the collaboration of the RACC with the Swedish company Jemba AB, the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España de 2010 is introducing another novelty, evolving and improving what has been already available in some rallies of the world championship: a CDROM with images and data that will be of great use for drivers and teams. This one of the innovations of the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de España 2010.

Derived from the military industry, Jemba has created a recording system for the stages as if it were an onboard camera of the rally cars, allowing participants, the organization or even fans to watch every detail of each of the eight special stages that make up the 2010 edition of the RallyRACC.

The video recording provides very important information, as it not only shows images of the stages but also interesting data, such as the estimated speed of a WRCar on each point and even the reproduction of the speed as the images are shown. Moreover, it includes the GPS coordinates of each of the stages, route maps, location of the safety elements on the road (ambulances, doctors, tow trucks, etc.) as well as the radio points. Another very important aspect to be highlighted is that each video recording shows the exact kilometre points of the stage, thanks to a Corabla tripmeter included on the screen which allows the viewer to select the desired km-point at any time.

A few moments before the start of each stage, these images will be shown in the media centre to let the media representatives locate the route of the special and watch the difficulties that the drivers will have to face shortly after. More information: http://jemba.se
