Vehicles with History, one of the highlights of the two asphalt Days

(20/10/2010)

As in recent editions of the event, the so-called Vehicles with History will be the highlight between the two passages of the “modern” cars. In remembrance of the 20 years that the Rally de España has been included in the world championship calendar and the 32 years of the World Rally Championship for Drivers, the caravan of cars that have taken part in historical rallies will be travelling along the different stages on Day 2 and 3, i.e. 23 and 24 October 2010.

As an appetizer and in order to contribute to the great rally party created by the 46 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, these vehicles will be taking the official start on Thursday 21 (07.30 p.m.) from the podium located at Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes, next to Paseo Jaume I in Salou, and travel to the Service Park in PortAventura, where they will have a special place to be exhibited until Saturday 23, the day on which they will finally be getting into action.

The Vehicles with History will start the stages at intervals of 30 seconds with specific 0 and sweeper cars, and will cover the road sections in caravan formation. The start times of the first vehicle for the five stages they will be covering are:

Saturday, 23 October (Day 2)
11h.54’ Santa Marina
13h.06’ La Mussara
13h.52’ Riudecanyes

Sunday, 24 October (Day 3)
10h.01’ El Priorat
11h.40’ La Serra d’Almos
