Golf will be one of the activities held before the RallyRACC

Among the support activities of the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, that take place during the stay of the participants in the PortAventura theme park, this year some of the drivers and co-drivers of the World Rally Championship will have the opportunity to play golf in the PortAventura Golf Club.

Some drivers that have confirmed their attendance to this event are Jari-Matti Latvala (BP Ford Abu Dhabi), Petter Solberg (Petter Solberg MSN) and his brother Henning, who competes for the Stobart VK M-Sport team, all of them accompanied by their co-drivers (Miikka Antilla, Phil Mills and Cato Menkerud). The event will take place on Thursday, October 1st from 16:00 to 17:00h, although the media willing to attend will need to be at 15:45 at the entrance of the PortAventura Convention Centre, where the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA is based.

On the other hand, among the events scheduled for Thursday, 1st. October at the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, it has to be noted that the Shakedown will take place from 8:00 a 10:00 for the priority 1 and 2 teams, and the priority 3 teams will join them at 10:00. All those groups will finish at 12:00. From 12:30 to 14:30 will be the turn of the rest of teams.

In the afternoon there will be and autograph session from 19:00 a 19:30 for the priority 1 drivers and some of priority 2. The Starting ceremony will be held from 20:00h. Both events will take place in Passeig Jaume I in Salou (Tarragona). Fans will also have the opportunity to see the “Vehículos con Historia” (historical cars) that will leave the parc ferme at 19:00 for a tour in Salou before heading to the service park, in PortAventura.
