Entry period open, with special conditions for Spanish and private drivers

The entry period of the 45 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Rally de Espaņa opened on July 6th and will remain open until August 25th. In order to encourage the participation of Spanish drivers as well as of private drivers from any country, special conditions have been prepared to make their participation in a world championship event easier.

From July 6th to 22nd, all non-Spanish drivers who can be considered as privateers, entering the race with a 4WD vehicle (not WRCar), will benefit from a discount of 1,000 Euros on the entry fees, and from a discount of 700 Euros if the vehicle entered is a 2WD, meaning that their final entry fee will be 2,500 and 2,800 Euros respectively. All drivers holding a Spanish license, regardless of the car entered, will also benefit from a discount, as a consequence of which their entry fee will amount to 1,700 Euros. These measures should encourage the participation of national drivers considering the importance of the event.

Two wild-card invitations for the JWRC
The 45 RallyRACC will be decisive for the JWRC title, the championship for drivers under 28 years of age that is held at 8 European rounds of the World Championship. As every year, the RACC will have the chance to enter at least two Spanish drivers for this race. These drivers will have the same privileges and conditions as all the drivers taking part in the championship, even to score points, thus offering an additional attraction for all those drivers having the necessary age and a car that complies with the JWRC regulations: front-wheel-drive cars Super 1600, Group R or Group N up to 2,000 cc.
